Do you have a picture of exactly which port? I'm just guessing here 
based on your description that you meant the one like 5mm high by 20mm 
wide just below the intake ports. On my housing that comes up from a 
vent around the exhaust port and mates to a matching hole in the lower 
intake manifold, which routes it out to a vacuum line port. I believe 
this is for the EGR system.
