I'm just guessing here based on your description that you meant the one like 5mm high by 20mm wide just below the intake ports. On my housing that comes up from a vent around the exhaust port and mates to a matching hole in the lower intake manifold, which routes it out to a vacuum line port. I believe this is for the EGR system.
