Stop and do some tests before you start cutting on that cowl.
First, use a water manometer to see how much pressure you have across your radiators. Get reading from a static runup,
and some high speed taxis. Do you have good exit flow? Is the air getting turbulated before it gets to your radiators?
Several studies have shown that just opening the inlet is not necessarily the most productive solution.
That makes two rotary births in a week. What a grand week for our little list. I got primer on my fuselage this past
weekend, and I hope to start taxi testing in the next week or two while I finish getting my wings together.
