Doug,
It is a Laminova water-to-oil heat exchanger. I bought mine used off ebay. I Googled "laminova" and came up with what looks like a good source at http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/category/Mocal_Heat_Exchangers.
The main distributor is Bat Inc. (http://www.batinc.net/files/laminova.pdf)
You can order it with whatever size fittings you're using.
How well do these units work? What I'd read seemed to suggest that they wouldn't keep up with a rotary, especially with a turbo. But I'm fairly sure I also have excess water cooling capacity - and I'd have even more if I wasn't diverting radiator air through a pair of oil coolers.
I ask because the oil coolers will affect my cowl streamlining, so I've been looking for options to change that. Does anybody have any experience with these? Lynn, any essays on the topic?
Regards,
Chad
