Made it home today from Paducah and a family
visit in Knoxville.
A great gathering in Paducah! Thank you Ed
for making this possible. The airplane attendance was great, with 3 rotary
powered planes and one with the wrong engine. The Glasair 3 left Sunday
morning with a spectacular take off and fly-over.
Big thanks to Mark Steidel and Bobby Hughes for
coming all the way from Texas, so we could finally inspect their marvelous
machines. Dennis Haverlah is already an old timer, as far as flying to the
meetings is concerned.
Unfortunately, I could not take any
pictures, because my camera elected to stay at home on the kitchen counter,
where I found it when I came home today.
Anyway, it was really great to see everybody
again, and we really missed the ones who didn't make it.
Talking in the group made me realize that many
did not realize that my web site with the information on the single rotor is
no up, and the URL has been with my email signature for a
while.
Next year I have to plan for a longer stay,
because my better half wants to see Paducah and the surroundings in the
daylight.
