Round trip was approx. 1300 miles. We flew up to 5KY3 at 7500msl, return was between 4500 and 6500 msl (looking for more favorable winds).

I had to cruise slow as I was flying with two RV's. LOL
Most of the trip was at between 20-22 MAP with the c/s prop set at 1700rpm. We kept the speeds between 160 and 170mph most of the way. Even at 180 I was still getting around 15 mpg, but fuel burn went up a bit as you would expect (no free lunches).

This trip gave me time to get more familiar with the finer tuning of the EM-2. I landed in Lockhart 5 hrs, 2 minutes flight time with 42 gallons left in the tanks. Heck, I could have made it all the way to the Gulf of Mexico before needing to buy fuel. I love my rotary and the
