Here's one: I tried one & got the same results as Tracy,
compared to a regular wood fixed pitch prop.

It's not just stalled, portions of it is actually creating
negative thrust and the portions that are not contributing to
thrust are creating drag on the engine.

I used one for awhile on my RV-4 but was not happy with
it's efficiency at high speed. Worked great for takeoff
& climb but area near hub was stalled and draggy at
cruise & high speed.
Works better on canards because that area is in turbulent
air anyway.
