Dave,

Yes send phot= o of the bolt head/balance pit overlap..............I would use hardened wa= sher and to
maintain your new ba= lance job you need washer under all four bolt heads (I know you knew that b= ut
that is how my mind = works)...............<:)...Strength should not be a problem as bolts are= in shear.....

Hi Kelly,

The guy did not offer to to correct the issue (despite having paid the= $100/hr), saying only that it wouldn't be a problem.  I said I was wo= rried about the bolt head having a proper seat because 1/3 of the surface a= rea is missing do to the lightening hole, he said I should just use a washe= r.  I'll send a picture to see what you guys think.

I did already have it re-balanced, that was only $35 but had to drive = 45min each direction.  I am starting to think that the whole science o= f balancing is just a gimmick.  Despite the old balance hole bein= g mostly drilled away, the new balance holes are on the opposite = side of the flywheel. !??

I got the gear drive back from Tracy yesterday.  Now I am just wa= iting on some new silicone (instead of rubber) dampers that Paul Lamar is m= aking up for me and are in the mail, then it is all ready to go back togeth= er.

In the mean time I have mostly finished installing the water= /methanol injection system. (easily removable - that pump is heavy). <= /DIV>

Next project is to get ADS-B weather and Traffic.
