Ross recommended using engine oil and Marcotte says to use gearbox oil that requires a reservoir. I will be going with Marcotte's recommendation. I feel the plus is I will be using clean gear oil that is formulated for gearboxes not hot dirty engine oil. The BIG guys (airliners) use separate oil systems for their accessories. There are airplanes flying with the Ross system. To each is their own. --- Finn Lassen wrote: > So?
