I took my RD1-C apart today since I'm taking my planes downtime as an opportunity to do my annual. The plane only has 12 hours in the air, and about 50 hours of run time. the redrive looks fine. Someone mentioned that they had a problem taking their redrive apart. I used red RTV and had no problems what so ever taking the redrive apart, and had zero leaks during the last year of running. I didn't need to drill a hole in the side of the housing to provide a purchase point for prying it apart.
I found a local Mazda Dealership that has a drawer full of wiring harness parts, so I'm going to take my CAS sensors off and go down to get some connectors for them. Then I'm going to try changing the polarities on the CAS and see if maybe I had my CAS wired incorrectly.
