If the rotor fits into the rotor housing, it is in index. It will not fit
out of index. It is fool proof. I know...............
The crank should need nothing but a good cleaning.

A little
prep work before I start my rebuild.........
Is there any machine work that needs to be done to the eccentric shaft
(such as would be done with a crankshaft?)
How do I know that I am replacing the rotor in the correct
position.
I won't crack the case open until this fall but these are just the
nagging questions I have.
