Subject: oil supply for Ross

Hi, fellow rotary enthusiasts....I am getting ready to run the oil supply
line to my Ross PSRU.  I am contemplating tapping into the 90 degree oil
filter adapter which we made.  Upon looking at several schematics showing
oil flow and direction in a 13b, I concluded that the oil first enters the
oil filter from the port furthest from the engine, then after flowing
through the filter, returns into the port closest to the engine. Because of
the design of my 90 degree filter adapter, it would be easier and more
practical to tap into the system where the oil is returning from the filter
back into the engine.  My thinking is that since the oil filter is a
"closed" system, that there should be the same, or adequate oil pressure
just as the oil is exiting the filter as it would just before entering the
filter?  If this is true, I can tap into that portion of the loop, and have
a simple, short hose going straight to the top of the PSRU.  Did I mention
that I like things simple?  Thanks in advance for any and all replies and/or
suggestions.  Looks like this thing will be making noise very soon.  Paul
