Sounds great!  When my dad ran his Lycoming 180 hp on his 7A in Denver he also couldn't go to WOT without tying it off to his pickup truck as it would start to hop and want to start boogying down the driveway!  You're no doubt making plenty of power to launch your 6A as soon as you feel ready!
