Thomas,
I presume you are talking about the aluminum housing that the pump cartridge bolts
to...................This housing has been modified by many builders to change the inlet/outlet
positions and to lower the housing profile.................If you have been following the forum
recently you may recall that Mark Steitle (Lancair ES/20B) adapted the 2004-9 RX8 pump
housing and cartridge to his P-port 20B engine..........This involved the purchase of a RX8
front housing then cuting the pump hsg from it (bandsaw, rotary files, etc) and it is almost
a bolt on............Photos and very complete info are in the archives..........The "CozyGirrls"
of this group are also installing this pump on their Cozy/13BREW/Turbo engine..........The
conversion will the use of RX8 pump, alternator and eccentric shaft pulleys that require
a flat multi-rib belt...........See attached photos...........More photos to follow

Subject: [FlyRotary] water pump housing
Can anyone tell me which water pump housing will lower the overall height of the housing on the stock 20B. I need to keep it the height of block if possible. I have seen some photos of one that would work.It was on a two rotor engine.
