The new top-down diagonal catches the top; the new bottom-up tubes catch the ends. Off-axis load paths are at least as good as most dynafocal offsets on proven mounts. The load into the bar should be more or less at a 45* angle toward the bottom of the firewall, minimizing the twisting load on the square bar.
I considered adding another diagonal between the two original vertical tubes, but it already has as much angular bracing as the original dynafocal structure.
