Correct. If I use Tracy's tuning, I can do straight runners. I can't
see needing longer than 16", & that can be done with U shaped
tubes with the plenum sitting next to the block, in front of the top
diagonal mount tube.

Well,
it's now dangling in front of the firewall.
Several better pics didn't make it from the camera
to the computer hard drive, but at least you can see
the general idea in this pic. I'm hoping that I'll
have room for coolers, intake, exhaust, etc.
