Been doing some aircraft application calculations on the
expected power from the 16X engine. This is based on the increased
displacement and does not include any other performance enhancing factors like
higher efficiency combustion chamber, direct injection, higher compression,
etc.
Right now it looks like the 16X at 4500 rpm could match my
old 13B power output at 6000 rpm of around 160 HP.
At 6000 rpm the 16x should produce around 210 Hp and at a
modest 6500 rpm around 227 HP all at 40 lbs lighter weight.
I can't wait!!
