Have you looked at the "Gates Power Grip" heat shrinkable hose
clamps as a backup with the push on hose ?............I think Tracy uses
these but I do not know if he uses them with push on hose on his oil
system plumbing...........

While I had it off, I did some rework on the muffler to put the EGT sensor probes back in the muffler. So, I have to put that back on, go back through verifying that oil is flowing throughout the system, and then I'm back to where I was a month ago. The next step is to verify the ignition. That makes noise, but it is just the starter spinning the engine without plugs. Once I have reasonable verification that the timing is somewhere within a
couple degrees either side of 25, I'll put the plugs in and use a spray bottle to give it a little fuel. With any luck, that will give me REAL noise.
