I went out yesterday morning, ready to verify the spark. There was
a small oil slick just to the right of the nosewheel. Dang oil pan
was leaking. I'm gonna have to pull the engine to fix this one.
I'll probably just weld up a whole new sump. It took a gallon and a
half to get oil up through the filter pad, so I'm probably carrying
an excessive volume anyway. I've got a sheet of .050" 5052 that I
made the fuel tank from left over. Other than the flange, that
would be about perfect for the oil sump, too.
