Chrissi,
You really need to at least monitor the "Flyrotary" forum............You are missing out on a lot
of what is going on with "Doers" of the Rotary engine crowd (not me because of caretaking
duties for 4 years).........You need to post a few E mails with Mark Steitle as he can fill you in
on what exactly you need to do about adapting the Renesis pump to your engine..........I have
been posting our exchange to the "Flyrotary" group and will also send direct to Mark's mail
address..............

Thanks!
We could go with the Renesis. So the bolt holes and water passages line up then? Sawing and machining is no problem for us, same for TIG welding.
Yes I knew about the rev rot pump, just thought we'd have to deal with it. I much prefer to use the multi-Vee belt but not in the rev rot manner.
Thank you so much, Chrissi

Chrissi,
Before you part with any money please be advised that the 93-95 water pump is reverse rotation
from all previous Rotary pumps..........The 93-95 pump is driven by the flat side of a ribbed belt........
If might be advantageous to use the 89-91 pump and housing (normally V belt but pulleys for ribbed
belt can be adapted or purchased)............If the weight of the cast iron 89-91 pump is a problem one
of our "FlyRotary" guys Mark Steitle (Lancair ES, P port ,na 20B) has adapted the "Renesis" RX8
pump to his engine and uses a flat ribbed belt to drive it ( See Attached photo)...........FWIW

Can anyone help out the Cozy girrls?

Begin forwarded message:
ugh, I am tired of fighting with Randi on this one. We need basically everything for the front of a motor from the front iron on out to the pully for a 93-95 mazda. Except the alternator. Randi won't go to a dealer. Finally this morning she went to a junk yard and they had one 3rd gen w/o a motor after an hours drive, so of course its my fault for not going out to "all my resources on the net".
Where do we begin to look or who do we talk to. We are not on any of the lists, obviously not lamars. Tracy has no 3rd gen parts, Bruce does not either. We have been having this same argument for the last four years, hence no progress on the engine.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
