I'm back in the air after a one month hiatus to remove the engine and reseal the engine to sub-mount and complete my annual inspection.  I used the cotton cord method in the silicone sealer to prevent complete compression of the silicone during installation, also only snugged the oil pan bolts at first then torqued them down after overnight curing of the silicone.  Made a couple touch and goes to remove the rust then a short local 1/2 hour flight.  No leaking oil insight yet ...

Yesterday with cowls all off at (38F) it started as usual after one rotation, but today after putting the cowls back on it didn't want to start (30F).  I started wondering about the gap setting in the crank angle sensor - I had set the gap to 0.022" during reinstall - haven't been able to find this spec - anyone know it or where to find?
In the end, I connected the battery to my solar charger for a while then preheated it for 45 minutes - started as per usual.
Jeff
