I used the co= tton cord method in the silicone sealer to prevent complete compression of = the silicone during installation, also only snugged the oil pan bolts at fi= rst then torqued them down after overnight curing of the silicone. Made a = couple touch and goes to remove the rust then a short local 1/2 hour flight= . No leaking oil insight yet ... Yesterday with cowls all off at (38F) it started as usual after one rotatio= n, but today after putting the cowls back on it didn't want to start (30F).= I started wondering about the gap setting in the crank angle sensor - I h= ad set the gap to 0.022" during reinstall - haven't been able to find this = spec - anyone know it or where to find? In the end, I connected the battery to my solar charger for a while then pr= eheated it for 45 minutes - started as per usual.
