Yea, I tried to anyway (didn't have the right tools), sort of 45 degree bend and then welded onto the core at a bit of an angle so ended up with 90 degree bend. The most clearance critical outlet ends up less than 1.5" from the core (parallel to the core).

Finn, did you bend the 3/4" tubing that you used on your current cores?  If so, how tight of a radius can this be done.  Since I haven't added any hose fittings to my system yet, I'm starting to think about maybe using 3/4" tubing for the fittings, and silicone hose.
