Radiator and oil cooler??? Do I need a radiator and oil cooler? <g>

The radiator was removed since I ruined the one installed. I was waiting for a new one from Summit when this shot was taken, however, it goes up by the aluminum overflow tank you see on the firewall.  It sits just in front of the engine pretty much like it is in the car.  The oil cooler is mounted just under the radiator at a 90 degree angle to it. on the firewall.  The radiator and cooler combined with the firewall and two side walls of fiberglass form a plenum box fed by the two NACA scoops that come off the top of the fuselage as provided with the Velocity Kit.

On a side note, it has just been released that Velocity has just been completely bought out from Rocket Racing League by the former principle of Velocity, the Swing family and friends.

The coil location provides a short run of wire and would have been in otherwise "dead" space.  I hope to feed cooling ducting to them from the arm pit scoops.

Strange place for the coils, but I guess it'll work. Mine are on the firewall.
I hate to ask, but wheres the radiator and oil cooler/s?

Finally, for now, here is a shot of the plumbing from the intercooler to the Mistral intake.  The turn from the intercooler to the intake is pretty tight but still clears the cowling. I can even still access the coils.

Discuss.....flame suit ON! <g>

All the best,
