FWIW, Rusty, I just installed a wood stove in our
condo and relined the chimney on an existing fireplace. We used a special
1/4" foil faced insulation to get the SS liner to zero clearance fire
code. Bottom line: this is some pretty good stuff. I'd be happy to
share some of my left over material with you if you think you want it.
Also have some 1/2" material too. If you want more info, I'll look up the
specs for you.
