I believe that Tracy uses a 50/50 mix with 2-stroke oil, then uses that mix in place of the straight 2-stroke oil.  I decided that 50/50 was too much and now mix about 75/25 (mostly 2-stroke), added 1 oz/gal. 

Neither of us(to my knowledge) have any science or justification.  We both just like the smell of MMO better...

They call it experimental aviation...
