The wife had other plans (remodeling the kitchen). So, I was lucky to even get out to the airport at all. I wa= s able to roll it out and run the engine on Sunday afternoon. Now that all 3 EGTs are working (required making a new EGT harness for the EM-2) I could see that #3 EGT was 300-400* low. A new primary fuel injector fixed that problem. It runs pretty good, but still needs some tuning before flying (isn't that always the case). Once warmed up, it did idle nicely down to1500 rpm. Starts good too. One by-stander stated that it sounds like a race car. I guess that was a compliment. ;-) Mark On Mon, Apr 12, 2010 at 7:26 AM, Bill Bradburry w= rote: > Mark, > > You were hoping to get back in the air this weekend=85How did it go?? > > > > Bill B > > > ------------------------------ > > *From:* Rotary motors in aircraft [mailto:flyrotary@lancaironline.net] *O= n > Behalf Of *Mark Steitle > *Sent:* Monday, April 12, 2010 8:20 AM > *To:* Rotary motors in aircraft > *Subject:* [FlyRotary] Re: Fuel Pressure sensor warning > > Al, > > > > Could the difference be that Tracy runs mo-gas which most likely contains > ethanol? > > > > Mark S. > > On Mon, Apr 12, 2010 at 12:05 AM, Al Gietzen wrote: > > *SO, I can no longer recommend using the VDO pressure sensors for use on > fuel systems.* Either an isolator must be used or a sensor rated for fue= l > exposure be installed.
