How did you select the size. My figures say it's near ideal for 7,200 rpm.

Also not knowing the inner workings of Webers, is the choke as a smoother transition. I assume it is and acts as a venturi, increasing velocity.

Kevin, here is what I have.  48 Weber with 42 chokes, 180 main jet, 160 air correction, F-7 emulsion tubes.  The intake manifold is Atkins over the top and the distance from the block is 13 inches to the carb butterfly and 17 1/4 inches to the air inlet on the Weber.  For the fuel injection the Weber is used as the Throttle body.  The engine runs real good on the Weber, but my EC-2 skills need much more work on them.  The next thing is to make a pair of air horns to install.  I hope the oil injection line comes today so I can get the bird into the air, but won't have much chance to work on it until after Easter.  JohnD
