Here are Paul’s comment; and the U-Tube video. You can get some idea of the sound levels; although on my final takeoff the sound from my plane gets overridden by Mike on the taxiwayJ.

 

I really enjoyed that flyin. We should make it an annual event.

  Chuck Dunlap and Tom Parkes could fly over from Arizona.

  Nice place to have a flyin.

 

I am working on the video as we speak. Your airplane is not noticeably

  louder than Dave's. Surprisingly Al's 3 rotor is the quietest of the

  three.

Big time rotary fly-in at Borrego Springs, CA.  L to R; Mike wills, Al Gietzen, Dave Leonard.  Jeff Drobrige, Paul Lamar and wife Robin were also there.  I guess those of you on Paul’s list saw more photos.  I guess Paul is posting videos to U-Tube that will compare the relative loudness on takeoff.
