another alternative would be the 16B, should it ever arrive. no one has spoken about flight performance, but it is my understanding that the RV-3 with the lowly O-290 handles the nicest. don wentz rebuilt his -6, getting rid of all the extras including the cp prop and couldn't stop praising the new feel to his 30-40 lb lighter plane. but, everyone has their own criterion, hence, harmon rockets for instance.
