No I have not found anything more on it. I only came across it while searching for something else.
 
A web search on most of the usual aircraft photo pages for the tail number, the aircraft model a B&F Funk FK-9 or the Tankosh meet (Tannheim/Oshkosh) where the photo was taken shows nothing on the same plane. Perhaps making contact with the photographer may be a way to get hold of the owner of the plane. A lot of those photos are taken by "plane spotters" who do nothing but run around events and airports logging every possible tail number they have seen in some kind of mad trophy hunt,  kind of like train spotters or bird watchers. He may have an in on more information or where to dig for it.
