 Kevin,
How thick is that exhaust manifold?
How does that clamp work, I figure it might be that the flanged pieces are welded onto the ends of tube and the clamp goes over the flanges - is that correct?

Columbia mandrel bending,  http://www.mandrel-bends.com/catalog  [they make all the bends for burns stainless I'm told]  also an exhaust fabricator, is building this header for me after total failure in using the stock flange.  it is all s/10 305 stainless. I haven't weighed it, but must weigh close to the stock manifold.  tech weld did the flange.  not sure if I can cut the web between ports.  this thing is incredibly stout.  they have 3 hrs@$50/hr labor into it so far, $100 materials.   check out the clamp, serious, especially when compared to the Vetter ball joint currently on my RV.  I plan to mount a muffler under the fuse, thinking of a variation on ed's screaming turbine design!     kevin    [all comments welcome]
