Anyone used the Clarity Aloft headset from Tecnam Ltd - seems very good.

George,
If you're wanting to get off on the cheap, build your own ANR headsets. I did, and they do a good job. Start with a length of .050 piano wire and a $25 set of Panasonic ANR stereo earphones. They come with an adapter to fit the standard 1/4" aircraft plug. Radio Shack has the microphone elements for about $4. I wired it directly to a standard 3/16" aircraft microphone plug.
Bend the wire to fit around your head, with one side sticking out to form a mike boom. Use an epoxy/micro mixture to stick the microphone to the end of the piano wire, then heat shrink tubing to run the mike line. Use some spiral wrap nylon to hold the earphones in place. Go fly.
I don't have the links here at work, but I could get you more info if you're interested.
