Hmm... not sure if  that's a good idea so close to the engine. Maybe OK of you have thick tubing headers. Also not sure what it'll do to exhaust tuning. Tracy have sucessfully put "splitters" (an "X") _after_ the Y-collector.

Best solution would be to get hold of a couple of splitters from a couple of junk NA rotor housings and put them in your housings. Would have to take the engine apart to do that though.
