Good stuff. I thought I remembered reading a way, but was = uncertain if this was what it was calling for. There is so much to learn= , especially at the beginning, that from the perspective of a new guy, yo= u are not even sure how some stuff is to apply. Now, I at least know how= it is to apply and even know what you are talking about. Thanks. Feel free to stop by and lend a hand to understaning. The EC 2 has a mode for balancing the mixture between the rotors. You need to determine which rotor peaks first, with regards to EGT. Set the throttle above staging and making power (running), then lean slowly and watch one then the other reach their own peak EGT's then start back down. The first one to peak is leaner. The second one is richer. lean the rich one or richen the lean one to make them match as closely as possible. This will also smooth the engine further as both rotors will then be making uniform power between the two rotors. The EC2 manual should have a procedure on how to set the mixture balance (or maybe its in these other replies ive not looked at yet)..
