Richard,

You can put a mixture adjustment on the Mikuni by drilling out the venturi port vacuum and taping it for a hose barb. Then place a restrictor orifice in the float vents and put a T in the line with a needle valve between the T and the vacuum port. Opening the needle valve lowers the pressure in the float bowl and leans the mixture. Jet for SL static cold day conditions and play with the orifice size until you can get lean the mixture properly.

Subject: [FlyRotary] single rotor update

Just want to show that I am still here.
All major parts are done, and I have started on some installation issues. A
first shot at the engine mount as seen in the pictures. The radiator will be
on the cool side of the engine and the oil cooler will be below. The exhaust
installation has not been decided, yet. Ignition is going to be a CDI box
which I have been using on the test engine, with a dual coil. On the
carburetor, I know that a Micuni round slide works good, but the lack of
mixture control is making me look around for other options.
So, I am just fiddling along to get it done.

BTW, I could not have it done without going CNC with my milling machine.
