The CNC machine shop that I've been using for many years is winding = down operations so it looks like I'm going to have to gear up to do CNC = in-house if I can't find another good source. There are lots of places = to get prototypes done and many shops that will gladly do 1000 parts at = a time but the ones that can do small batches economically (like 20 = pieces at a time) are amazingly rare. The last batch of parts for gear = drives is almost gone so it's crunch time. And I was hoping to = simplify - sigh.... Even if I find another CNC shop it will take time to qualify them and = get drawings verified so it looks like I'll have to skip having the = Roundup here this year. LOE might be a good opportunity for the first = fly-in appearance of the 20B RV-8. Gotta go look up the date for it.
