I soon will be ordering new housings for my '88 13B and then intend to begin the rebuild.  In the mean time are there any places on the inner or outer housings that I should consider drilling and tapping etc. (while it is still apart), for oil or water (inlet/outlet) or probe connection points?

Hi Doug,

I would certainly consider drilling and tapping a fitting on the foot section of the #2 rotor housing, for an oil return from the redrive.  I understand this is what Bruce does now.   I never quite understood where everyone was saying to drill, until I recently took the junk engine apart.  Now, I know, and can post a picture later if you want.

Cheers,
Rusty (must decide on the radiator and EWP's today)
