I got the right connection for my alternat= or, experimented and rewired the field and ground leads per some suggestion= s from the Aeroelectric List. WhaLa, alternator started outputting about 15= volts. Too high, but a few turns of the LR3C regulator screw has it now ou= tputing 14.2 volts.

And as an added  bonus, after letting the = engine warm up, I started slowing adjusting the Mixture Control up and down= . Guess what, the Mixture Indicator on the EM2 slowly tracked those changes= in a smooth manner. Much more so than last weekend when running on battery= only.

Engine still idles higher than it should but now I'll go back= to actual tuning tasks. Progress is good.
