Ed,
It's in Austin May 29-31. Need to show up and look at those cool
radiators you made me. I attempted tuning today and ran for over 2
hours. Mostly between 3000 and 6000 rpm. It was 62F OAT and I think I
had my water up to 190F and my oil to 160 once. Bring the rpm back to
3000 and it would cool back down to 160F water and 120F oil.
Ok I did have my cowl off and my prop was set to high rpm.

Dear Dale and all the Texas folks
Hate to ask a simple question but when and where is the Texas
Rotary Roundup taking place?

Funny you guys should mention that. My spouse's first
experience in a GA aircraft was a C-172. Didn't like it - too
noisy - sounded like it was trying to rattle itself to death.
Didn't have much enthusiasm for the build, either ...
... until ... we caught a ride in Marc Zeitlin's COZY MkIV.
It was ~much~ quieter (amazing how much less noise there
is when you're running away from it, instead of flying right
into it!) and much less vibration. Seating was far more
comfortable, too. Enthusiasm level went up dramatically.
Unfortunately, so did our work schedules. (sigh)

Al,
Yes, my wife up and developed a perpetual sinus infection. She says
it
is due to allergies, but what she fails to mention is that she has
developed an allergy to small and EXPERIMENTAL airplanes. So, find a
buddy to fly with, or fly alone.

Well, Mark; the **W**ife (as you put itJ) says she can't get time
off work. But then, the underlying reason is that she is not
comfortable flying in small airplanes; especially one that says
'EXPERIMENTAL' right on the door. I have noted this to be a
fairly common malady among members of the fairer sex.

Al,
Don't forget the **W**ife.

Are you planning on attending the Texas roundup in May? It would
be good to talk to you again. Bobby hopes to have his
supercharged RV-10 flying by then (dependent on Tracy getting the
mods finished to his EC-2). I plan to be there as will Dennis H.
and a number of others. It should be fun.
I've cancelled my plan for Sun'N'fun in favor of the rotary
gathering. Tracy said he plans on being there. I'm looking
forward to finally meeting all you guys; W,W, & W permitting
(wind, weather and whatever).
