I'm told that "Jason" must have used an low density foam as the mold for the diffuser - which later showed a propensity for crumbling under the conditions existing around it. Lesson learned. Yes, I thought a good series of articles - something you would never see in Sport Aviation - Kitplane has turned into a true representative of the experimenter - while EAA has long lost its Experimenter soul. Kitplane and of course, Pat and CONTACT. Although there may be some hope for the EAA, I understand that Pat has taken over as editor of its "Experimenter" on-line mag which can only be good.
