Yes.  I can almost climb in there with the engine from the lower end.  I exaggerate, but the oil drain is within a few inches of the lower cowling air/exhaust exit.

I do put a high priority on making almost everything FWF in an alternative
engine installation easy to inspect.   With a unique installation you never
know where the trouble spots might be.
  
One of the neat aspects of the Delta is the wide, flat layout of the FWF.  There's lots of room to get  at the engine from the sides.
