Ed,
You know that I am retired!  That only means that I can't manage my time very well.  I can give you  lots of excuses as to why I haven't edited the video, but the truth is I just haven't.  I haven't even looked at it.   Give me a couple of days to get it loaded.  If it is any good I can put it up on you tube if you like?

Hey, Bob

I know I saw you taking photos/videos at Tracy’s because you ask me not to run you down on take off {:>).  Was wondering if you had a shot/video of my take off that you would send to me.  I have cable so can handle quite large files

Thanks

Ed Anderson

There appear to be a lot of problems to solve to be able to run pure ethanol, but they don't appear to be insurmountable.  You would need to be able to run any mixture of ethanol and gas to make it practicable, either that or you just stay around the home airport and your supply of white lightning.  If the EC2 could handle a wide range of ethanol and gas mixtures that problem would be solved.

Regarding power, the consensus of the car guys that are running 100% Ethanol, you can expect to make slightly more power partly due to the higher evaporative cooling but you will need to burn a lot more of it (about 2X in piston engines, no experience known in rotaries (Lynn?)

This subject probably has been hashed around on this list before, but I will ask it again. What might be the estimated power output of the 13B be burning only Ethanol, and what other alteration would need to be preformed other than what are already preformed?
I know the concerns about the effects of Ethanol on hoses and other flexible ancillaries.
The reason that I am even thinking of running the engine on ethanol is there might be some federal money out there for R&D passed out through one of the local Universities.
Just thinking about my piece of the pie. :>)
