The flying club's new gas prices just came in. $4.12/gal. Today, that RR trip with a 50mph headwind would see a $19 spread. That goes to a $40.62 spread with a 50mph tailwind. You'll spend an hour to save the $19, and 3 hours to save the $40. Of course, I'm currently paying about $100 to spend an hour in the cockpit of a Cherokee.
