I once again have my East Coast Rotary built Renesis 13b for sale. Originally for my Cozy MKIV, I sold the project prior to completion to build an RV-10. This is not a suitable power source for the RV-10. The buyer of the project went with Superior XP. I posted this engine here last winter and took an offer for it, however the buyer dropped off the face of the earth and I can not get hold of him so its back up for sale. I had this engine custom built by Bruce Turrentine of East Coast Rotary in NC in 2005, taking delivery in the spring of 2006. It has been kept preserved in my climate controlled shop ever since. These are the specs of the engine:
Mazda 13b Fourth Generation Renesis
4 port intake, 3 port exhaust
225 hp @ 7500
Factory new crate motor from Japan converted and modified for aviation use
Street ported housings
10:1 high compression rotors eye brow ported and ceramic coated
Black and yellow powder coated
Standard East Coast Rotary aviation conversion
Required RWS PSRU flexplate
I paid $6500 for this package and will sell for $5000 right now. Save a lot of money and a long wait. I still have the original shipping crate and will re-crate and drop off at a local shipper for no additional charge as long as the buyer pays for the shipping. Prefer payment in cash at pick up or money order, or cashiers check if I am shipping. I will also accept PayPal if the buyer adds the 3% to the payment. I am located in Howell MI 48843, 5 minutes from the US-23/M-59 intersection. Interested parties can email me at davidsoutpost@comcast.net or call: 248-245-3691. Thanks.
