Success!
Today I started by reinstalling the Jesus nut to keep the counterweight from
flying off--good thing too. Then I tightened the puller, and added about 2
seconds of heat and it popped right off.
Here is the Success picture and the current status. This weekend I hope to
get everything cleaned and inspected.
