Doug, a rotary flier recently visited me
from St. Louis
and made mention of a gent who had a FWF Mazda rotary installation for sale off
of an Rv-7 that apparently wiped out the landing gear on a forced landing. I
don’t think he mentioned where, but indicated it would be a two hour
drive from St. Louis
to go look at the rotary FWF.
But, no others details were
mentioned – except the pilot was apparently not injured –
apparently no one that frequents this list.

The RV-9A model on Vans Air Force forums
page listed two recent RV tip over accidents on landing and one was stated to
have occurred to a Mazda powered RV-7A....has anyone heard anything more about
that?
