Ethanol was R$1.79 per Liter or $4.38 per gallon. Driving one of those ethanol powered cars is a frighting experiance especilly whien you are use to having power when you push on the peddle. If Brasil is energy independant the government is not passing on the savings to the public down there. I have to agree with Lynn, the only thing the government is going to do is make sure that it serves itself. It is like the war on drugs, why would law enforcement want to win? To much money at risk.
