Your CAS alignment Looks like its right on the money to me, John .

 

I presume the assembly is in the engine and the lock nut tighten?  Otherwise, its likely to shift as you engage the gears as you push it in.

Tracy, today I rechecked the timing according to the installation guide for the EC2.  Enclosed is a picture of the CAS with the pulley at 35 degrees BTDC.  If the pointer is in the correct position in the CAS, I'm ready for another attempt at starting.  JohnD
