Doug,
Good timing as I just flew yesterday in 90+ temps and high humidity. First, I need to explain my oil flow circuit. Oil exits the engine, passes through the filter and enters the oil/air exchanger. Oil exits the oil/air exchanger and enters the oil/water exchanger and finally back to the engine. I measure oil temps out of the oil/air exchanger and also out of the oil/water exchanger. On yesterday's flight, in climb, temps got up to 223* out of the first cooler and 205* out of the second. They come down about 20* as soon as I level off.
I don't recall what the water temps were, but they usually run about 10* less (in climb) than the oil. All in all, I am very happy with my temps.

How about an update on your 20B in the heart of the hot Texas summer!
I realize August still has to rear it's head but you must be able to draw a few
trends based on the 90+ degrees you've seen so far, right? I'm still
wondering how your water / oil cooler is working out for you since I still am
trying to figure out where best to mount mine on the firewall!
Fly safe,
Doug
