If you are interested, here are some video (from my
cell phone cam) of my engine runs today (July 3, 2008). I ran the engine
with a shop vac blower in one ram vent and the radiator fan on for about 12
minutes at 2000 rpm and then went to low idle of 1500 for another three
minutes. The temps went into the mid 2-teens (about 214-16) after about 12
minutes. Temps stabilized at about 215 for both coolant and oil
temp when I reduced the rpm to 1500 and didn't go up at this lower
rpm (actually, it dropped a bit). The outside air temperature was about 91
degree's with Houston humidity of 90+.
I think you may need Quick Time to view the
video. Also, it is a small vid....heck, it is from a cell phone....the
whole idea is kinda absurd...camcorder/camera in a portable communication
device. Geeesh we are spoiled. <g>....and I am happy about
it.
